THANK YOU FOR SUBSCRIBING

Daniel Jay, Executive Vice PresidentGTB Technologies® was founded on a simple but disciplined belief: you cannot secure data until you first understand it. Before controls, policies, alerts, organizations need clarity, what data matters, where it came from, how it moves, and who interacts with it.
“This “understand first, secure second” journey has shaped our approach to enterprise data security from day one, guiding everything from discovery and classification to enforcement and response,” says Daniel Jay, Executive Vice President.
As enterprise environments expanded across cloud platforms, endpoints, email systems, and now generative AI tools, data security grew more complex, but not necessarily more effective. Many traditional tools attempt to control data movement without knowing whether the data is sensitive, proprietary, or low risk. The result is a flood of alerts, weak confidence in enforcement, and security teams forced to react rather than act with certainty.
GTB Technologies® was built to close this gap by centering security on the data itself.
Founded in 2004, GTB Technologies® brings over two decades of experience securing enterprise data across email, networks, cloud platforms, and endpoints running on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Long before “data security” became a crowded category, it was helping large organizations protect sensitive information at scale, learning firsthand where traditional approaches broke down and why precision mattered. Today, the company is recognized as the Enterprise Data Security Solution of the Year, underscoring the impact of its data-centric security platform.
Understanding Data before Enforcing Control
How does GTB’s platform identify, track, and evaluate sensitive enterprise data accurately?
GTB’s platform follows a deliberate, stepwise data security journey. It begins with precise data identification through patented and proprietary exact data matching technology, allowing organizations to distinguish truly sensitive or proprietary information from data that poses little risk. This foundational clarity eliminates guesswork and dramatically reduces false positives.

Our solutions don’t just detect and monitor; they act. At GTB Technologies®, we give the best to enable enterprises to enforce policies based on both content and context, automatically and consistently.
Once risk is identified, GTB Technologies® supports a wide range of remediation actions. Organizations can automatically change user permissions, quarantine or copy files, apply classifications or watermarks, generate audit logs, or take no action beyond reporting. Policies can also factor in metadata, enabling nuanced, context-aware enforcement rather than blunt controls.
Discover, Guard, Predict, and Act
How does GTB create a closed-loop system for continuous data security operations?
GTB Technologies® has long been transforming security operations — shifting from simply detecting threats to actively stopping them – accurately, without the cost of third-party SOCs or manual intervention. Rather than offering disconnected tools, the company delivers a closed-loop operating system for data security that mirrors the natural lifecycle of protection.
The GTB Technologies® platform reduces dependence on external managed services, SIEM-heavy workflows, and outsourced SOC teams. Security operations become faster, more consistent, and significantly less expensive, while remaining fully under the organization’s control.
“Our solutions don’t just detect and monitor; they act,” says Jay. “At GTB Technologies®, we give the best to enable enterprises to enforce policies based on both content and context, automatically and consistently.”
Cloud, GenAI, and Compliance without Tradeoffs
How does GTB extend data security across cloud, AI, and compliance environments seamlessly?
GTB™’s approach extends seamlessly across modern environments. Organizations can deploy agent-based or agentless controls depending on their architecture, including cloud-first and BYOC scenarios. Using native APIs, network monitoring, and classification engines, GTB Technologies® inspects activity, tracks lineage, and enforces policies without requiring endpoint software everywhere.
In one recent engagement, a customer was in need to classify and protect sensitive data within its Box environment without deploying endpoint agents. GTB Technologies® worked with the client to design and approve a data classification schema, then applied it in real time using native integrations.
In less than two months, approximately five terabytes of sensitive data were accurately classified, and DLP policies were automatically enforced based on those classifications. The entire process was completed without disrupting users or installing additional software.
The same unified framework applies to generative AI usage. Employees can benefit from tools like coding assistants while policies prevent proprietary data or source code from being shared with unauthorized AI platforms. GenAI becomes just another destination governed by content-aware controls, rather than a blind spot.
Beyond generative AI, the same controls apply to all applications in use across the enterprise. GTB Technologies® can identify newly installed or unauthorized applications, monitor how data is being used within them, and enforce policy by alerting, blocking, or disabling applications that introduce unacceptable risk.
A broad library of pre-built compliance models spanning GDPR, HIPAA, CMMC, financial data and more, are available out of the box, while custom models allow organizations to protect unique intellectual property. Automation assures compliance requirements are met without sacrificing flexibility or visibility.
Operational Certainty in a Moving Landscape
Everything GTB Technologies® delivers across cloud, endpoints, networks, and AI is grounded in visibility that leads to action. Unlike tools that only report activity, GTB Technologies® links events with the sensitivity of the data and the users involved, allowing administrators to identify real exposure and respond from a single platform.
Security teams gain confidence not just in knowing where their data is, but in knowing what will happen when risk appears. Policies are enforced consistently, decisions are explainable, and protection scales with the environment.
In a world where data is constantly in motion, GTB Technologies® gives organizations something increasingly rare: predictable, reliable control over what matters most.
